INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — High school students across Indiana have a chance to compete in Innovate WithIN, an initiative that teaches students about entrepreneurship and innovation. Participants will learn how to turn problems into opportunities, pitch their ideas, and compete for prize money and scholarships.

More than 100 students, educators, and legislators from across Indiana gathered at the Indiana Statehouse for the official launch of the Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Caucus on January 15. Co-presented by members of the Indiana General Assembly and The STARTedUP Foundation, the event showcased Indiana’s commitment to cultivating a robust culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the state’s educational system and beyond

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — On Wednesday, more than 100 students, educators, and policymakers from across Indiana gathered at the Indiana Statehouse for the official launch of the Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Caucus.

INDIANAPOLIS — You’ve heard of “Shark Tank,” but some Indianapolis students got their own chance to pitch their business ideas to some sharks of their own.

Ten teams of Lake County high school students did their best to pitch their problem-solving entrepreneurial ideas to a panel of judges Friday at Purdue Northwest as part of the Innovate WithIN regional pitch competition.

Kerry Ao and Naina Muvva learned that 80% of Americans can't identify basic financial literacy concepts. In response, they created Intertwined, an educational software platform that utilizes AI, pre-ChatGPT, to adapt the platform based on how each student interacts with the curriculum.
